WHO WE ARE
Chi siamo
We are Barbara (no accent on the a) and Paola (who, although she doesn't have the accent on the a, reads and pronounces it as if she had one!) Confused? Don't worry, after a few Italian lessons with us you'll learn to pronounce like a real Italian. We both come from Tuscany, we had a similar academic background: we graduated in foreign languages and literature in the cities of, namely, Florence and Pisa, we both studied Portuguese and, probably because of that, we ended up meeting in Lisbon, where we worked and, we still work together in several language schools.
After some very positive experiences of online classes we decided to follow this path with the desire to allow more and more people to speak our language, get to know our culture and, why not, make one of your dreams come true.

BARBARA GALANTENI
I was born in Figline Valdarno in a village near Florence and, like Paola, I have also lived in Lisbon for many years. My approach to teaching started a long time ago, even in Italy I taught for a few years at primary school, a few years later under an EEC program I did an internship as a language assistant in Spain and from there my interest arose in teaching Italian LS/L2, which ended up taking me to Lisbon, a city I already knew well! Another thing that I do from a very early age and that I never stopped doing, is travelling, for me it would be a bit like stopping to breathe, when I grow up I want to learn Modern Greek and another thing I love is stationery and bags :)

PAOLA PALLINI
I was born in Pontedera, a city a few kilometers from the more famous Pisa. I have lived in Lisbon for many years. What I like about my job is..everything. I like to 'teach', or rather, transmit what is my language and my culture to those who want to know it. My greatest satisfaction is when my students are able to express themselves autonomously in Italian and after a class they feel refreshed and willing to learn more. At every moment, I strive for them to get the most out of and pleasure in learning.
Outside of classes, I like cycling, going for walks, traveling, watching movies, being with friends and good food, although I'm an Italian who doesn't like Parmigiano (but don't tell anyone).
